Our story
With love and gratitude, we're thrilled to share the story of Nora Rose Bridal Boutique, a dream ignited in Creston, British Columbia, thanks to the generous support of my grandmother, Leonora Ludwar, who provided the initial spark for my mother, Joanne Ludwar, to launch her passion project. For 16 incredible years, my mother nurtured this business, pouring her heart and soul into it. Though we're saddened to share that she was diagnosed with cancer in June 2025, we were heartened by the kindness of our dear friend, Teresa Jackson, who stepped forward to purchase the business, ensuring its legacy carries on. With Teresa's guidance and love, we've been able to not only keep the business thriving, but also elevated to new heights. We're humbled by the outpouring of love and support that has enabled us to reach new heights. Teresa's gift to me has been truly life changing, entrusting me to manage and carry on my mother's legacy. We've been committed to serving our community and attracting visitors from far and why to experience the beauty of the Kootenays. We invite you to visit us at our new location.
